We're really proud in introduce Tin Tin to our mix of coloured boys.
Tin Tin has one cria on the ground now and more due this season. We're
really looking forward to the mix of colours we can expect including grey.

We've shown Tin Tin 3 times. He's received three 1st places one Champion Senior Suri, one Reserve Champion and a Best of Brown Suri ribbons.

His fleece is extremely dense and fine with great lock struture and beautiful lustre.

Whiskey is doing us proud with the high number of grey progeny he's putting on the ground, we're proud to add that he so far has sixteen strong healthy cria on the ground with thirteen females and three handsome males. Whiskey already has one daughter in Germany and two more are on their way to Germany and a pending cria in Denmark. We look forward to this years progeny. Rose at Kowhai Park has three of his progeny on the ground so far for 2011 and we here at Gem Alpacas are expecting 9.

Whiskey has a fantastic line up of genetics including Blue Grass Rising Son, Sonoma, Merungle Free Spirit, ILR Peruvian Don Julio, ILR PPPeruvian Legend & Purrumbete Lavender Blue.

He has been shown once in Australia and placed 2nd in a class of 7 alpaca.

Cedar is a stunning young male. His sire Forestglen Maestro and all his ancestors have won multiple ribbons at shows. Cedar has exceptional bloodlines in his background including Grand Sire Purrumbete El Dorado,Grand Dam Purrumbete Minty, Great Grand Sire Purrumbete Highlander. So far to date he is also doing exceptionally well in the show ring. A very polite well behaved male.

While Cedar's micron has not held it's fineness, his excellent conformation, bold high amplitude crimp and fantastic density is just what any breeder looks for in a stud male and he is passing these on to his progeny, along with some beautiful colours.

Hot Stuff (Harry) has a beautiful soft handling extremely dense fleece with a wonderful fine crimp throughout. He's got great conformation and also brings a wonderful bloodline to New Zealand. Hot Stuff has the most incredible Lavender shade in his fleece. The judges are certainly very pleased with it. It's got to be seen to be believed. Every single cria born to Hot Stuff's dam have gone on to be ribbon winners. His fleece stats below speak for themselves.

Hot Stuff has consistently beaten all other grey males in his class including fleece classes at show time since arriving in New Zealand. Even when carrying a full 12 month fleece, showing no sign of cross fibre's, it keeps it's perfect condition. He has progeny now being shown and one has received a broad ribbon so far.

Epidote is a wonderful proud and upstanding young male. He has a gorgeous rich brown fleece. With Inti, Highlander and El Dorado in his bloodlines along with many others, we're looking forward to his next generation.

Titan is a lovely brown male with a wonderful bold crimp throughout. He won his class as a junior at the Ashburton A&P Show in 2008. He brings a fantastic new bloodline to New Zealand with Patagonia Celtic Triumph who has won 7 Supreme Championships in Australia. His dam is a rare brown girl by the late Purrumbete El Dorado, so he has everything going for him genetically and we look forward to his progeny.
